"Some of you may have noticed that Sesert's Blog is gone. Yes, it's gone it's down, and it's because of me for potentionally two reasons.
1. The phone number blog post he posted, was in fact, my cell phone number. I live in Washington State, but my husband is originally from Michigan, grew up in Hancock, and went to college for a time in Houghton. I lived in Michigan for a couple years. We never bothered changing the area codes of our cell phones. I reported the blog post concerning my phone number to Google, and it's possible that they did more than just remove the post, but take down the entire blog.
2. I spoke with Sesert's family on the phone. How was I able to do that? I'll explain further below. The point is, I spoke with his family, sent them emails containing a good portion of the evidence I have collected for the past year, most of it damaging and likely upsetting. The family members I spoke to had no idea this had been going on, and were mortified to say the least. Therefore, they themselves could have taken down the blog, or forced Sesert to do it himself. Also, an email most of you are familiar with, a Yahoo email address he frequently used, was completely cleaned out, either by his family's doing, or his own. It has not been logged into by anyone but myself since yesterday evening, which is around the same time the blog was taken down, and the email cleaned out.
So, let's begin the story, shall we? Because it is a long one.
As you know, Sesert began his harassment early last year, nearly a year ago exactly. He started harassing jisgr8 and other builders, then after several of us spoke out against him on our external blogs and websites, he started targeting us. He posted pornography on the forums last May, disappeared for a couple to a few months last summer, then returned in September, going back to his usual antics.
He had made comments and sent emails on blogs, telling us to log into a couple of his email addresses and provided the password. Myself and Bluebell, originally did not do this, because we figured it was a way to find our IP addresses, or some other nonsense. After the latest row on the forums regarding the posting of pornography (the day before MLK Jr. Day) as well as making threats against my mother, we decided to start investigating ourselves. I had gotten in touch with an FBI agent who was assigned to speak with me in early January, and I kept him informed the whole way, letting him know that I was looking into said emails and trying to figure out who he was and a means of contacting those related to him.
In one of his emails, Sesert had made a vital mistake. There was a payment confirmation for a Sims 3 Stuff Pack. Fast Lane, which his apparent grandmother had bought for him. Included in that email was the name of his grandmother, an address, and a phone number. I used a couple of websites, one of them called Spokeo, to look her up, and the address provided on that website matched the address in the email with the payment confirmation. I did more searches on her, which led me to the correct phone number. I started calling it, but there was no response, only three rings and an answering machine. So, I figured it was time to start looking elsewhere, as it was likely I wouldn't hear from her. We got into another email, where I found email addresses for a couple of his family members, as well as emails he had sent with pictures of himself. I emailed those addresses and explained the situation, but never got a response.
I then took to using Ancestry and people finder websites, to try to figure out who his mother could be. I found her, but she was listed as having the same address and phone number. I also discovered that Sesert had an Uncle, and that uncle had a phone number. I called, and was able to successfuly speak with his Uncle.
His uncle was apprehensive at first, to say the least. He had received my email, but didn't respond because he wasn't sure if it was a scam or not. After I told him about the IP Addresses from Israel, the sudden movement from Israel, to Malta, to Spain, to New Jersey, as well as how it all started with The Sims 3, he put two and two together, as he had originally bought Sesert the game. He explained that Sesert was under the age of 18 (I won't give out his exact age on here, but let's say he's under 15 years of age as well) and that his first name was in fact, Michael. He was mortified, took my number, and assured me that someone would get in touch, either Sesert's parents, or himself.
A couple of hours later, I received a call from Sesert's father, who's English wasn't that great. I explained everything the best I could, and Sesert's father was just as mortified, and told me that something would be done. That it would not continue, and mentioned taking the computer away. He apologized profusely. After speaking with him, I spoke with Sesert's uncle once more, who requested that I send all the evidence I had, and that he would forward everything to Sesert's mother and father. I sent all the screenshots, as well as a link to Sesert's blog. I made sure to tell them that if they need anything else, I was more than happy to help in any way I could."
