The Sims 4 & Youtube

I was just browsing the internets one day and i got this message on the TS4 site

I had no idea that this was a promotional thing, i am not sure how long i've been there maybe a month or so? Also i hardly go there too, i don't even know what to say or post-but anyway i got that post and now i have a avatar!

Also i want to say something and i don't think many people who view my blog here know this but...

I HAVE A YOUTUBE CHANNEL & IT'S ACTIVE!

You can find a link to it in the "Social Links" area, in the near future i will be filling it with a load of sims content that i am sure you all will enjoy. Also i would like to know what you guys like, what do you find interesting in a Simmer Youtuber? Do leave a comment down below.

Also i am doing a series of vlogs too, i have been testing out my phone's video and set it to a good quallity setting or how my phone says it "Fancy" - if you want to check it out it's one of the most recent videos i have done! Oh and sorry if they seem a bit "Slow" & "Quiet" I haven't had much to say in such short space of time, but when something happens damn i'll tell you about it!

Important Annoucments & Live Broadcast.

Since it's going to be quite long i am going to divide my topics into points

1. Driving Theory Test
2. Returning To University

4. Projects For The Community

1- So what could be so important in my Theory test? What could i possibly tell you? Well you know i don't often talk much about my driving as i should but talking about my practical another time, my theory is slowly improving today i just got my very first pass on the multiply choice practice test and after two returning goes at it (gradually getting better) How ever if i want to keep this going and feel 100% that i am ready to take the test again then i must keep at it but for today i have had enough, i have answered 150 questions in total i think that is indeed enough and you know what they say? Practice makes perfect...which i find totally bullshite cause no one is perfect, Practice makes awesome! To discribe how i feel, here is a gif...

Hopfully i'd get my test done in the early weeks when i start back at University, the sooner this test is over the better! 

2- So, Tuesday 24th i shall be making my way to a welcome back talk- starting at 16:30 and finishing at 17:30. Not sure what is happening after that though i have read the welcome back timetable for that week and there is nothing there apart from that Tuesday, but on Blackboard it tells me

"Note: 2013/14 Timetables for returning students are available from Mon Sept 23rd. Timetables for new students will be available by the end of Friday Sept 27th."

So..i guess i'll find out what i am doing a day before the talk then! I really hope there are days off and afternoons off where i can continue my driving and have a time to place my theory exam, i did last year and the year before that but now since it is a big year for me and i have a 10.000 word dissertation to sort out i think i would need as much free time i could have though i will bring my mini laptop with me to work on when i am on the train, if i have very little time that might be the only time i could make a start on it and maybe during lessons too which is pretty cheeky of me since i did some of my resits during lessons too...But at least i got them done right?

I got a email from my main tutor today, she sent me a list of books that may help me with my dissertation, So many books! My Whovian side is dancing around and all over the place but my student side is like..Hmm this is quite interesting i shall save it to my wishlist for later. So right now i am pretty much like this, spinning around and trying to keep an eye out on helpful books. 

3- Now i bet you all maybe wondering why there are random adverts here, Ah yes they where not here before that's correct! I am using AdSense, it has taken me around most of the week to sort out there is still a bit to sort out, i am waiting for a small deposit so i can varify my account so far i have got nothing yet but the site said it will appear within 10 working days, so yeah i check back everyday to my bank account. It's going to be annoying long and if it fails i think i would need to re-edit my account details and try again, but what is my plan for all this? Well i am planning on making a little "Charity Fund" I want to earn some money to buy some equipment (Camera/Boom Mic) I know i wont really have enough time for the stresses and problems of work and trying to get a large lump of work done before i leave, so i thought about trying out adsense here- this blog can get quite busy. I have noticed in the data that Blogger gives, i get around about 100 views a day max but on a bad day it could fall to 50 which is ok too. Not 100% sure on how much i will get monthly we have to see but i hope i don't get like 10p a month that's just silly ._. , but at least you know what is happening here! So far it's all Google advertsiments i am not sure how to change them. 

4- And finally- i am not sure how much i can say here, but in the near future i plan on making videos with a group for the community. So urm yeah, looking forward to that! ;) :P

"The Final Chapter Of Leighton Sekemoto"

Which is an idea that cropped up to me at 01:05 in the morning- yeah it just plopped into my mind just right now haha! I was just chillin' listening to this as a i do..

I have been posting a lot of these recently and i kinda feel silly getting attached to a sim/s they are fictional characters! and...so are the characters in Doctor Who and i get attached to them so i just shut myself up at that point, but yeah i had this crazy idea in the pit of my mind where i write a dramatic story where i depart from The Sims 3 to The Sims 4 and not understanding that Sims do have feelings too, i imagined that the uninstalation process slowly kills each and every sim slowly...(Wow..I'm getting a bit twisted or i've became Steven Moffat) But over the course of the time Leighton & family have written a book/letter, well all sims have as a matter of fact, they write a letter to their simmer, they write their final goodbyes.

I am thinking of the final passage...

This is the Life of Leighton Sekemoto...and this is how i died. 


Something quick and a idea to play with, might do this as a side project with the group i am with, though i do hope you like the little poem!...Though i should head off to bed before i come up with any other twisted ideas!

 Just thinking about the life of The Sekemotos (as i normally do :P)
The Sims 3 is set in the past before The Sims (Mortimer & Bella grow up and have Cassandra, guessing that they would be young adults) Sam is a toddler in TS3 while Mortimer & Bella are kids, in TS1 Sam could just be pushing to the Young Adult age while Leighton is having a mid life crisis and getting wrinkley yet Yumi could of passed away =d which thinking about that already makes me sad.

So TS2 is the future to TS and if sims up one age then i can see what is happening by the time TS4 comes around, hopfully the Sekemotos will make a come back but not as i/we know it, what i am seeing is Sammy will be a elder...and....Leighton has been dead a long while Q-Q, i have only seen Sammy as an elder once before in another save and it feels kinda odd O-o

I saw this tweet last night and i had a odd dream O-o
Welp, either way if they did bring the Sekemoto's back then i can see it being like that, would be awesome to create a future story! and either way i will be recreating anyway :P

So my thoughts on The Sims 4?

If you haven't check it out yet then you really should!

Lets Begin!

So ok i am going to be honest with you all, when i first layed eyes on the sims in The Sims 4 i thought, what the hell? Aren't they going a little bit backwards with this? These sims look like TS2 & TS3 had a baby and this was it but this was before i understand a few facts. Remember how TS3 was such a computer buster with all it's requirements? Maybe the team took this problem at hand and understood that not everyone has a awesome super computer, wouldn't it be great to have a game that works for once right? So what if the sims look like clay?

Oh my good night have you seen cas? Look at what you can do, now taking into account that the game is still in very very early pre-alpha and it's not going to look like this forever and at this stage i find it pretty awesome and i know it's going to be more awesome as the months grow on, i honestly think we are going to get a pretty awesome game at the end and hopfully it will work on all computers and weaker computers and even better elderly computers. My laptop is fine now but looking at five to six years down the line it's going to get tired and it wont be able to do much.

So, do i like what i see? Yes indeed i do! there is room for improvments and we do indeed have time! I like that we have a half of slider type things and "Hands On" with the sims, If there is no Sekemoto's in the base game...well..I'm going to have fun recreating Leighton.  "If you know what i mean..." 

That's my thoughts so far, i don't really need to express my love for "Into The Future" EP, i am sure you all know that i am exploding with awesome sauces and fangirling. Feel free to leave your thoughts and comments below, Is this game for you? Are you sticking to TS3? Or are you waiting a little while?

Gamescon & all that jazz!

I just wanted to forward some interesting tweets from simmers who are in Germany, live tweets will be on my feed to the left and you can also watch the live fottage from EA's booth to the left also, when Gamescon is over i will collect all my opinions on things about The Sims 4 and i went to get a link for the new forums from SimsVIP but is it me the forums are not loading? I keep getting a Error 404, it was working fine last night maybe it overheated? but thanks to Cor here is a link if anyone has any trouble! The Sims 4---Spoilers! (I guess?)

I was just browsing the forums today and i found pictures, them seem interesting but i still don't know what to think i don't really know if i should call them spoilers or...i don't know but anyway i am just going to plop down what i found and see what you all think to them..

So what is my opinion on all this? Well..I am kinda stuck in the middle with it all, i don't know if it's good or if it's bad, part of my feels that the series is taking a step back. Some of these sims look like they came out of TS2 they are all blocky and clay-y but then again the first pictures & videos of TS3 look nothing or lack what we have today...

Lets look at the TV advert

Now we can obviously see that there is a slight difference but in my opinion the first look on TS3 looks way better than TS4, maybe these pictures are a lie? Hopfully they are, If not then..well I'm not too bothered! I don't need to play TS4, TS3 isn't going anywhere is it? Nope and it would seem idiotic that everyone was to leave TS3 and play nothing but TS4, that wont happen- it doesnt happen.

Also i found this post on SimsVIP click this link to see their post, but what i want to comment on is the price! Look!

Yeah i know it wouldn't be real and proper yet but what the hell? £39.85? that's the same price as SimCity in GAME- when the time comes i wont be counting my chickens any time soon, i can't honestly remember TS3 costing that much ._.

Also i will be helping a friend with his channel- he is looking for channel art, his name is Stephen, for my part i am planning on creating his simself next to the TARDIS that was shipped with Supernatural :P if curious the deadline is next Saturday. This was his last video he's the young lad in the fancy top hat.
