Hello everyone, as you can see from the title i am collecting research for my Doctor Who dissertation for University, I am about to start my Fandom chapter & i am looking for some research- I understand that there is a fandom section here on this forum- which i will check out very soon. The dissertation has three chapters, Chapter One "Fan Culture" Chapter Two "National Identity" & finally Chapter Three "Comparing The Classics To The New" - Each chapter totaling up to 3000 words. I have a questionaire ready & i want you guys to give me you best & honest opinions! 1- What do you do for the show? Do you create anything? 2- How do you express your love for the show? 3- Do you collect anything? 4- Why do you love the show so much? 5- What interests you in the show? 6- Did your family grow up watching the show? 7- When did you first watch Doctor Who? 8- Who are your favourite characters from the whole of the 50 years that the show has been broadcasted? (Can be as little or as many as you like) 9- If Doctor Who was to go on for another 50 years what improvments do you think the show would need to do to keep up with it's target audience & the modern day? As soon as i get the game i will be starting a new LP featuring Marty Keaton Looking forward to that! Planning on making it a friday thing, still continuing my Anna LP's for the Thursday but the Into The Future shall be my main series.
Which is an idea that cropped up to me at 01:05 in the morning- yeah it just plopped into my mind just right now haha! I was just chillin' listening to this as a i do..
I have been posting a lot of these recently and i kinda feel silly getting attached to a sim/s they are fictional characters! and...so are the characters in Doctor Who and i get attached to them so i just shut myself up at that point, but yeah i had this crazy idea in the pit of my mind where i write a dramatic story where i depart from The Sims 3 to The Sims 4 and not understanding that Sims do have feelings too, i imagined that the uninstalation process slowly kills each and every sim slowly...(Wow..I'm getting a bit twisted or i've became Steven Moffat) But over the course of the time Leighton & family have written a book/letter, well all sims have as a matter of fact, they write a letter to their simmer, they write their final goodbyes.
I am thinking of the final passage...

Something quick and a idea to play with, might do this as a side project with the group i am with, though i do hope you like the little poem!...Though i should head off to bed before i come up with any other twisted ideas!
Over the weekend i have been working in CAW figuring out what works and what doesn't and i am sure i did make a mess on a few things! ^^; but i managed to sort them out and make everything better! Olyesti is my first proper world that i have ever made, it's small....very small and it has quite a few hills, there are already 9 homes that have been built and in the plain version there are 8 empty lots and in the full version which i am currently working on has 7 lots (i missed judged on how many rabbitholes i needed ^^; ) But anyway if you like building, the plain edition is good for that, there are no parking spaces here and i will not add any in the full version due to the car bug...
So let me show you the plain edition, this world only has spawners, homes...yeah that's about it ^^;
As you can see...it's not your typical green grass normal world ^^; I wanted to make something alien and odd, something different, I have finished the Plain version and it is uploaded (i will add a link at the end of the post, Last night i have just placed down a few rabbitholes, i still need to finish the graveyard (i think) and build a few parks, other than that it's ready i still don't know how to add sims...if anyone has any idea that would be awesome i would love to make my own premades!

This world has only been up for a few hours and it has already reached 105 downloads...Was not expecting that! 10 maybe but 105 O.o
Yeah that kinda explains it, Matt is leaving- I want to talk about how great he was playing the role and i have a bone to pick with him too, but we will get to that later. Lets take a trick down memory lane and see how Matt came into our homes and lives- well..through the TV screen..he didn't really come into my house that would raise questions...but i am babbling..2010 was the year and i just legally turned into a adult and the goofy fezman danced around like a headless chicken.
Now i have to admit i was really upset when David Tennent went and well about Christopher Eccleston i couldn't give a rats ass about his departure he was only there for a year and it didn't really give me enough time to get used to him so urm yeah i don't really have any major feelings for him unlike Tennent and Smith. Tennent's most famous word- Allonz-y means Lets Go! in French and in his regeneration scene he said with a tear in his eye- "I don't wanna go" Matt's famous word- Geronimo, It's going to kill me if he says that while he regenerates- The next image was found on Facebook-
This picture is sad yet amazing! And seeing Matt leave on Xmas day is going to ruin the day, (if your a big Xmas celebrator) For me it's just going to be a sad day. At first with Matt i wasn't all too sure about him, i was concerned about what would happen to the show now? A new face, new person...how on earth could he possibly live up to David Tennent's standards? but from that moment on when he was dancing around the TARDIS like a headless chicken i felt that he would do well..and he did more than well...words can not discribe how awesome Matt played the role after David, people who pointed and commented that he was too young for the role, so what? I for one couldn't give a rats ass how old or young the actor is- as long as he acts the role like the past actors have done then i don't really have a problem also being a little goofy goes a long way!
After many regenerations...you'll never get used to it, well i didn't. I think we all need a group hug!

Why in god's name did you announce that you would be appearing in series 8 then tell us now that you are leaving? This is very misleading and can be somewhat confusing to all the fans who watch the show and if all this leaving bussiness is another form of a joke then i am slowing losing all respect for you sir.
I am going to keep one eye open but i am really really really gutted that you are leaving Matt, we all are you are a special actor and chap and i am sure to follow what you are doing next!

Since the depature of Matt we would be looking at a new Doctor, The 12th Doctor, now i would like to stay ahead of the game and i want to change my audio drama from Welcome 12 to Welcome 13- I have created a poll and i would like everyone to select a answer! It is important that the crew and the audience give me feedback. If any problems using the poll do get in contact with me!

Yes! At the minute i am coming up with ideas on what the 2-3 minute script would be about and the only idea i have right now is that the 11th incarnation drowns in the fountain of youth- harsh i know but it will work out because i have gotten a few replies back from people who are young but i feel they would have the skill to be the Doctor, they would need to have a interesting voice! The Doctor is full of sass! he can't be dull, i want all budding actors to go and research Doctor Who and develop their own Doctor personality- also you need to be cheeky and funny, bring the best attitude forward is the key! I will sort out a test script on a later date and what i mean by doing a test script is that it will help me pick who is right for the role. Well it can be tricky i can't sell this work as my own due to copyright from the BBC but if i ever manage to make a spin off one day then by all means the BBC has no reason to address any issues-so since we have to go all free ill have to do some eye fluttering and speak some nice words to get these themes.
Reasons for doing this audio drama is that i felt that the current series right now has been a bit...well it was lacking something, i always though Steven Moffat was the guy that would tottally mind boggle me but his writer team hasn't done anything to mind boggle me- though the last episode with the Cybermen that was bad ass! The Name Of The Doctor is on tomrrow and i will be seeing how Moffat writes and presents it.
I want to see if i can be better than Moffat..

Yesterday i have gotten some insane lag after the birth of Estelle & Goopy's 4th child, Clara, here she is ^^
Everything was running fine till they all got in the taxi to go home..i thought my game was about to crash but after the lag i saved it, but this wasn't the end of it- every few seconds it would stop then continue then stop again once they got home i started to get fed up so i managed to get little Clara into the crib and quit and saved the game, i would like to continue with what i am doing but the lag..how can i play with a stupid lag every 5 seconds?
But anyway i went to the build town save i have to see if it was that save being stupid- and it was. So i took the orginal Sekemoto's from out of my library and built them a nice little house ^^ Sammy has half his body stuck in the snow ^^;
Hm :P the celebrity impersonation reminds me of someone :P
